Though Florence is a city that could easily occupy the curious traveller for a lifetime, its rich culture can be spectacularly brought to life over the course of a single day. A car and driver will be waiting for you at the port when you disembark to take you to Florence where you will meet our guide and begin the visit. With this tour we will embark on a journey from the Middle Ages to the end of the Renaissance. We understand that time is of the essence for those travelling on a cruise ship and we guarantee that you will make the most of your day and take you to all the must see places in Florence. Our guide will take you the Uffizi Gallery with works from Giotto to Da Vinci, the Accademia with Michelangelo’s David and also to soak up the glory of the Cathedral of Florence with Brunelleschi’s Dome.
